Senior Wastewater Network Modeller
Locations: Warrington, Leeds, Newcastle, High Wycombe
Salary: £45,000 – £65,000 (depending on experience)

About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Wastewater Modeller to join our growing water consultancy team, contributing to high-impact infrastructure and environmental projects across the UK. This is a permanent opportunity for a technically strong individual with deep expertise in wastewater network modelling and a passion for solving complex urban drainage challenges.

You'll be working within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment on a variety of strategic and regulatory-driven schemes. While based in one of our key regional offices (Warrington, Leeds, Newcastle or High Wycombe), you’ll be part of a nationally integrated team committed to delivering sustainable water management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead wastewater modelling assignments from initial data analysis through to model build, verification and solution development.
  • Use InfoWorks ICM to produce reliable and insightful models that inform network planning, resilience improvements and catchment strategies.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to develop innovative, technically robust and client-focused outcomes.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior modellers and engineers.
  • Maintain a strong awareness of industry standards, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to clearly communicate technical information and project progress.

About You:

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in wastewater network modelling or closely related roles.
  • Advanced user of InfoWorks ICM, ideally with experience across a range of UK water company frameworks or regulatory projects.
  • Strong background in hydraulic modelling, model audits, scenario testing and solution development.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
  • Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available for this role).
  • Ability to work in-office three days per week at one of the listed locations.
